Lyza-Mary Barry has been a trustee of Plymouth Hope since its establishment in 2013. Her background as a Family Court Adviser at CAFCASS, where she provides independent advice on what is safe and in the best interests of children, has been invaluable in shaping the charity’s safeguarding practices. She is also the charity’s Vice Chair and Safeguarding Lead.
In her current role at CAFCASS, Lyza-Mary advises family courts on children’s safety and well-being. At Plymouth Hope, her expertise has ensured the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection. Her leadership has played a critical role in creating a safe environment for all children and young people involved with the charity.
