Digital Hub Organizer and Web Developer for Plymouth Hope & Hope FC
Iustinian has been with Plymouth Hope since 2023, initially as a volunteer and now in a part-time role as the Digital Hub Organizer and Website Maintainer. With a focus on supporting community access to digital resources, Iustinian has guided countless asylum seekers and community members in using laptops and other digital devices to improve their skills and access essential services.
As the Digital Hub Organizer, Iustinian oversees the design, development, and maintenance of Plymouth Hope’s websites, plymouthhope.com and hopefc.co.uk, ensuring they provide an accessible, secure, and user-friendly experience. In this role, Iustinian handles both front-end and back-end updates, optimizes content for SEO, and ensures that the sites meet the community’s needs.
Beyond website management, Iustinian plays an integral part in organizing community events, such as the Plymouth Hope Festival Football Tournament, which brings together youth and adult teams for a day of sport and connection. Known for his proactive approach and technical expertise, Iustinian is instrumental in advancing Plymouth Hope’s mission to empower and support the community through digital engagement.
In Iustinian’s current role as the Digital Hub Organizer and Website Maintainer for Plymouth Hope, he is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s digital presence is both functional and accessible to all users. This includes ongoing development and maintenance of plymouthhope.com and hopefc.co.uk, coordinating with stakeholders to implement necessary changes, and troubleshooting any technical issues.
Previously, as a volunteer with Plymouth Hope, Iustinian supported hundreds of asylum seekers by providing guidance on digital devices, facilitating English language learning through online resources, and assisting with practical tasks such as form completion and device troubleshooting. Additionally, he managed general IT support, helped with administrative tasks, and organized community events, notably leading the highly successful Plymouth Hope Festival Football Tournament.
Iustinian’s blend of technical skills, community-focused support, and organizational abilities contributes to Plymouth Hope’s ongoing success in serving the Plymouth community.
