      Our youth programme is tailored around using the power of football to bring change in lives of children and young people.

The Need
Our intervention is aimed at children and young people among the most disadvantaged in society focusing on particular needs.
·      Mental and physical health

Our intervention areas:
Our interventions are in the most economically deprived areas in Plymouth, but not exclusively.
·      City centre and surrounding areas
St Judes; Mount Gould; Lipson; Prince Rock; East End; Mutley; Greenbank; Stonehouse; Devonport; Waterfront.

40% of those supported would have never engaged in any sport without the trust we built
30% of mentored young people have sought to engage in education or employment
10% have engaged in skills for lives related training
70% of young people who attended our sessions have made improvements to their health
60% of participants feel better integrated and they have built better positive links
70% of participants remain engage in regular sport activities.
40% of participants were referred to access advice (homelessness; welfare support)
Our Model
We use the power of sport & play, mainly football to engage with young people and build trust so we can use the power of relationship to embed our life changing interventions.
Stage 1: Self referrals or referred to our sport programme
Stage 2: Young person and support worker mentoring support
Stage 3: Life changing intervention as a result of agreed issues to address during mentoring
We use the three stages to monitor every participants change changing outcomes and 80% of participants are welcome to continue our weekly sport & play activities.
